MEMORIES
A sudden loss for one's hopes and dreams,
A single tear that slowly floods a mountain stream.
For a bright and shining star has dimmed,
For a smile that will never again beam.
A future planned but now is lost,
A future gone with one we love most.
For a time we need to find the space,
For a corner of our souls to find a place.
A place to store all the sharing,
A place to store all the caring.
For a lot more tears,
For a lot more years.
A little thing that may remind,
A little loving that that once two souls bind.
For although two different worlds apart,
For all the memories still touches the heart.
A new seed for life will grow,
A new spring that may be slow.
For hurt will lessen each moment, silently,
For hurt will lessens each day, continually.
